New To Having A Business Opportunity?
Here are 3 key tips that will help you get your home business opportunity on track. These are handy tips that are particularly useful for setting up any new home business opportunity. The order that I have laid out below are intentional as these are the order and steps in which you need to take to build up your online presence.

Tip 1 - Setting Up Your Business Email
Setting up your business email address is the first thing you need to do to get the ball rollingin your new home business. Again, you can set up your email address using Googlemail as a preference, as it comes across as profession, other free email accounts such as hotmail, do not.
Alternately, if you purchase a website URL, you can also purchase email addresses that go with the URL so your identity is consistent and business like.
When thinking about a URL or email address try to set up one that you can use across many areas. For instance if you are a Herbalife Independent Distributor you dont want to set up your email address as 'Colette_Herbalife@gmail.com, what if you leave Herbalife after a few months or years, what are you going to use that email address for then? Try not to go for cheesy URL's or email addresses such as www.getrichin30days.com as this will drive away potential prospects. Instead think of a URL that can convey clearly what it is you are selling or promoting i.e. www.AttractMoreLeadsOnline.info which is a URL I use to point prospects to my capture page on 'lead generation' which is appropriate for the URL used.
Keep your business email address seperate from your personal email. This makes life easier for you as you can respond to business emails quickly and not have to trawl through the ton of emails mixed with family friends and business. Now the email address could be the same as your name, which I find is more user friendly, rather than having an email address such as 'ColetteINeedLeads@gmail.com' for instance.
Tip 2 - Setting Up Your Online Identity
Ok, so you've just joined a home business opportunity and among all other things you need to do such as ready the terms and conditions, understand the pay plan, get to grips with the back end of your website (that is if you have one). There are a few key things you also need to think about and action quickly if you are to get started right away.
First off, you need to think about 'branding' yourself. What image are you going to project to your prospects? In doing so, you need to think about getting a decent photo image to project out there.
To create an online presence you need to sign up to a number of social media sites, twitter, facebook, myspace, bebo, tumblr, digg etc. The more the merrier. Again, think about the image you project on each site. To be consistent and to get noticed by the web bots ensure you use the same photo, and email address.
Tip 3 - Setting Up A Blog / Website
Now you have signed up to various websites the next thing is to set up a blog or website. See my previous hub 'How To Set Up Your First Website' to help you get more detailed information on this.

I'd like to add that one should set up a work space specifically for the business. If just starting out, then a specific area of the home is good to start with. The reason is because it helps to put you mental and emotional mood in the right place.
